Research chemicals for laboratory use only
Reserve Research sells peptides and research compounds strictly for in-vitro research use only. You must be 21 years of age or older and a qualified researcher to proceed.
By entering, you confirm you are purchasing for legitimate research purposes only. These products are not intended for human or veterinary use, diagnosis, or treatment.
Reserve Research operates in strict accordance with FDA Research Use Only (RUO) regulations. This page outlines our compliance framework and your obligations as a buyer.
Research Use Only (RUO) is a designation applied to products intended for in-vitro research, laboratory studies, and non-clinical scientific investigation. Under U.S. FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 864), RUO products:
By purchasing from Reserve Research, you confirm and agree to the following:
All Reserve Research products are labeled in full compliance with FDA RUO guidelines. Every product label includes:
Every Reserve Research compound comes with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA) generated from independent third-party laboratory testing. Our COAs include:
Exact percentage purity by high-performance liquid chromatography
Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry confirms correct molecular mass
Limulus amebocyte lysate assay for bacterial endotoxin contamination
Karl Fischer titration for residual moisture percentage
COAs are linked directly to product pages and updated when a new batch is released. You may also request a COA for any past order by contacting us with your order number and batch number.
The legal basis for Research Use Only product sales in the United States is primarily established under:
Reserve Research maintains its RUO compliance by: making no clinical or therapeutic claims, refusing to advise on human administration protocols, requiring research-purpose purchase agreement at checkout, and maintaining complete sales records.
Reserve Research collects only the information necessary to process your order and communicate with you. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Yes, for qualified researchers purchasing for legitimate research purposes. Research Use Only peptides are legal to purchase, possess, and use in a research context in the United States. They are not scheduled substances under the DEA's Controlled Substances Act (with limited exceptions — some peptides may have specific regulatory considerations in certain jurisdictions). It is the buyer's responsibility to verify compliance with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
No. These products are strictly for in-vitro research and laboratory use only. They are not intended for human or veterinary administration. Reserve Research does not provide guidance on human dosing, administration protocols, or medical applications. Any such use is solely at the buyer's risk and is explicitly prohibited under our Terms of Sale.
HPLC stands for High-Performance Liquid Chromatography. It is the gold-standard analytical method for measuring the purity of peptides and small molecule compounds. The purity percentage (e.g., 99.3%) represents the proportion of the sample that is the target compound, as determined by UV absorbance. A higher HPLC purity indicates fewer impurities, degradation products, or residual reagents from synthesis.
Each COA includes the issuing laboratory's name, contact information, and accreditation details. You can contact the testing laboratory directly with the batch number to confirm the results. We do not generate COAs internally — all analysis is conducted by independent third-party laboratories with no commercial relationship beyond fee-for-service testing.
Most lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are shipped at ambient temperature with desiccant and can be stored at -20°C long term. Cold-chain shipping is available upon request for temperature-sensitive compounds. Storage conditions are listed on each product page and in the accompanying COA. Upon receipt, we recommend inspecting the product and storing immediately at the recommended temperature.
Yes, to eligible countries. International buyers are solely responsible for ensuring their import complies with all applicable local laws and regulations. Some compounds may be regulated differently outside the United States. We do not provide legal guidance for international jurisdictions. Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure about regulations in your country.
If a compound does not meet the purity specification stated on its COA upon receipt, we will replace it at no charge or issue a full refund. Claims must be made within 30 days of receipt with supporting documentation (e.g., your own HPLC results or evidence of discrepancy). We stand behind every product we sell.
Yes. Universities, CROs, biotech companies, and research institutions can contact us for volume pricing, custom vial sizes and concentrations, and dedicated account management. We can also support purchase order (PO) billing for qualifying institutions. Contact us at info@reserveresearch.com or use the inquiry form on our Contact page.
